Norman Brown Bows At Top Of Contemporary Jazz Chart

Norman Brown's new album, Stay With Me, has debuted at Number One on the Billboard Top Contemporary Jazz Albums chart. In addition, the set bows at Number 28 on Billboard's R&B Albums chart.

Stay With Me is the follow-up to his 2005 release West Coast Coolin', which also found Brown logging radio time both at smooth jazz and urban radio.

The guitarist and singer's long awaited seventh album is his first outing on the Peak Records label. Brown's lead-off single, "Let's Take A Ride," was inspired by his late older brother.

Norman Brown's Summer Storm tour will kick off later this month with Jeff Lorber, Peabo Bryson, and Marion Meadows.
