Arturo Sandoval's Rumba Palace Wins Latin GRAMMY® for Best Latin Jazz Album

“I am thrilled to have received this GRAMMY®,” Sandoval says. “It is always such an honor to be recognized by the Latin Recording Academy and my peers. I am extremely grateful.”

In a ceremony broadcast live on the Univision Network on Thursday, November 8, Cuban trumpet virtuoso Arturo Sandoval was been awarded a Latin GRAMMY® in the category of Best Latin Jazz Album by the Latin Recording Academy for Rumba Palace, released on May 22, 2007. Produced by Sandoval, Rumba Palace is titled after his newest nightclub in Miami Beach, Florida, and features ten new compositions that highlight the celebrated trumpeter’s Latin side. Sandoval has now won five GRAMMY® Awards, six Billboard Awards and an Emmy Award. Rumba Palace is Sandoval’s 28th recording
