KKSF Releases Holiday CD to Benefit AIDS Foundation

KKSF/San Francisco releases the “KKSF Sampler for AIDS Relief Vol 19: Holiday,” the station’s first benefit collection of holiday music. This special holiday collection brings together some of the biggest names in Smooth Jazz.

KKSF Program Director Ken Jones says, “This collection is one that we have received many requests for over the years, and we are proud to present this first-ever holiday collection of our benefit CD Sampler Project. We are pleased again to be raising money and awareness for the San Francisco AIDS Foundation and other Bay Area AIDS organizations.”

Over the last 18 years, KKSF has been the largest corporate sponsor of the San Francisco AIDS Foundation, and since the sampler’s inception, the program has raised close to $5 million to fight HIV/AIDS.

The collection is comprised of 12 tracks which include Kenny G’s version of Silver Bells, Richard Elliot’s version of Silent Night, Rick Braun’s version of The Little Drummer Boy, three tracks by Peter White, Rick Braun & Mindi Abair, along with other selections by Babyface, Luther Vandross, Grover Washington Jr. and others.

The CD is available now for download at kksf.com. You can learn more about the San Francisco AIDS Foundation at sfaf.org.
