Walter Beasley Offering A Live CD Today, “In The Groove”

Smooth jazz saxophonist Walter Beasley is releasing a live CD today (May 4) titled In the Groove. It’s his first live CD.

It was recorded at Scullers Jazz Club in Boston.

It’s Beasley’s first since 2009’s Free Your Mind, which featured the No. 1 Smooth Jazz Top 20 hit “Steady As She Goes.”

Beasley will be performing June 25-27 at the Blues Alley in Washington, DC, Sept. 11 at the BB Jazz Festival in Huntington Beach, CA, Oct. 16 at the Rehoboth Beach Autumn Jazz Festival in Rehoboth Beach, FL, and Oct. 23-25 for the Capital Jazz Supercruise.

He returns to Scullers Jazz Club in Boston for shows Dec. 3-4.
