Singer and songwriter Basia is set to make a long-awaited return to the market with her new CD It's That Girl Again, to be released by Koch on March 24th. The project's first single is the samba-tempo tune "Blame It On The Summer."
The thirteen-track set, which features songwriting and production by Basia's former Matt Bianco colleague Danny White, is her first solo album since The Sweetest Illusion in 1994.
The Polish-born singer was last heard in 2005 on the Matt Bianco reunion set Matt's Mood, on the Decca label. The project reunited Basia with singer Mark Reilly and keyboardist White, the brother of guitarist Peter White. The band had only released one album together, 1984's Whose Side Are You On?.
