Released on September 26th in celebration of John Coltrane’s 80th birthday, "Fearless Leader" is a 6-CD Boxed Set from Prestige Records that spans nine sessions, recorded between May 31, 1957 (Coltrane’s first as sole leader) and December 26, 1958 and keeps most of the original albums intact, while an exact chronology of all of the sessions are included.
