This week on, Jazz In The City, an interview with saxman Darren Motamedy. Darren is a Seattle based musician who has composed, arranged, produced and recorded his 9th album titled Don't Cha Know. This release has risen to number 4 on the independent artist chart and has received considerable national airplay.

Although the album shares some urban contemporary/ funky R&B stylings, Motamedy never sacrifices the jazz theme that has always been such a major part of his music.
