Herbie Hancock's Possibilities moved back into the top spot on the Billboard contemporary-jazz chart this week. Everette Harp's In the Moment, which debuted at number one last week, fell to number three.
Possibilities, which features guest appearances from Paul Simon, Annie Lennox, Christina Aguilera, and other pop musicians, has spent 27 of the last 40 weeks at number one, fending off challenges from Harp, Gerald Albright, Mindi Abair, and Jamie Cullum, among others.
Albright's New Beginnings moved from number four to number two, while Abair's Life Less Ordinary dropped from number three to number four.
On the jazz chart, Michael Bublé's It's Time remained at number one, followed again by The Very Best of Nat 'King' Cole, Chris Botti's To Live Again: The Duets, and Michael Bublé's Caught in the Act.
There were no new entries on either chart.
