Trumpeter Chris Botti's new album Italia comes out September 25th, and fans will also be able to buy a special version that includes extra tracks and a DVD, reports smoothvibes.com.
The extra tracks include "Emmanuel," which Botti originally recorded for The Young and the Restless; a version of Miles Davis' "Sketches of Spain"; a version of "If I Loved You" with vocals by Paula Cole; and the standard "Smoke Gets In Your Eyes."'
The special DVD includes extras including interviews with Botti and his producers, and footage of Botti recording the album in Los Angeles, London, and Italy, including segments of him recording with Andrea Bocelli, and recording "Nessun Dorma" and "The Way You Look Tonight" with a full orchestra.
The 12-track Italia is Botti's salute to Italy, and includes many guest stars, including an appearance by the late Dean Martin, thanks to modern engineering technology.
