Chart Notes With Gordon Murray

Eric Darius makes it two weeks at No. 1 with "Goin’ All Out" (Blue Note/Capitol) (+16), extending his still slim lead to seven plays over Dave Koz’s former No. 1, "Life In The Fast Lane" (Capitol) (+12).

John Legend says "Good Morning" (Home School/G.O.O.D./Columbia) to the chart, arriving at No. 27 with the week's Most Increased Plays. The song serves as a preview of his upcoming album "Evolver," which features special guests Kanye West, Estelle and Brandy. The album, due at retail on October 28, will be Legend's third studio effort, and follows up his "Live From Philadelphia" set earlier this year. Legend, who kicks off a world tour with opening act Raphael Saadiq on November 19 in Minneapolis at the Northrop Auditorium, is also found on this week's chart as the featured artist on Al Green's latest, "Stay With Me (By The Sea)" (Blue Note/Capitol), at No. 19.

Sergio Mendes, along with featured vocalist Fergie, collects Airpower honors this week with "The Look Of Love" (will.i.am/Starbucks/Concord/CMG). On the detections chart it moves 21-20 (+19), and on the audience list it's also up 21-20, registering 107,000 new listeners.

Wayne Brady's "Ordinary" is Most Added this week at No. 18, with adds at KSSJ Sacramento, WDSJ Dayton and WLVE Miami.
